Hollybarn Dog Behaviour and Training are excited to be able to offer a much more personal approach to traditional Kennels with "Home from Home Boarding" for your Dog or Puppy.
While you are away enjoying your holiday or short break. Instead of your Dog or Puppy staying in a traditional Kennel or Boarding environment, they will stay with leading Dog Trainer, Behaviourist, and qualified Veterinary Nurse Emma Whelan in her own home in Claremorris, Co Mayo and have a holiday all of their own.
Providing the best care possible for your Dog or Puppy is especially important to both their mental health and physical health. Especially whilst you are away.
They can even sit in front of the TV in the evenings and get snuggles on the sofa as well as curling up in their own beds at bedtime.
Much Less Stressful Than Traditional Kennels
Home from Home Boarding for your Dog or Puppy is much less stressful than traditional Kennel environments.
Your Dog or Puppy will get our personal care and attention during their holiday stay with us. We treat them like one of our own Dogs.
On Holiday Even Your Dog Has Fun!!
We have a one-acre, fully secure, garden/play area which your Dog or Puppy will have access to for exercise during their stay. Our local area also boasts many different walks and several parks and lakes.
Maintaining Dogs Daily Routine
We sleep your Dog or Puppy where they sleep at home. You can bring their own Beds and their own Toys.
We feed the food you feed at home.
We feed at the times you feed at home.
We walk at the times you walk at home.
All this helps maintain your Dog or Puppy's normal day to day routine and minimise stress.
Keep The Family Together
Don't worry if you have a multi-Dog household and would like "Boarding" for them all.
We will take more than one Dog from one household, so you don't have to break up the furry family.
We Even Take Your Dog Even if it Has Medical Problems or eating disorders
Don't worry if your Dog or Puppy has any medical problems, is taking prescription drugs or needs special medical care or treatment while you are away.

9.00AM - 6.00PM Saturday
12.00PM - 6.00PM Sunday
Bank Holiday Sundays Closed
Bank Holiday Mondays 12.00PM - 6.00PM
Christmas opening hours may vary.
Our property is locked at ALL times for the protection and security of your Dogs. Visits by appointment only.
